My path to New Life comes with over twenty years of experience in Iowa and across the country in the areas of counseling, non-profit work and human service work. I spent most of my early professional life working with at-risk kids and families and was able to fulfill my dream of teaching and coaching here in Central Iowa.

In addition to working with individuals and families, I have also facilitated workshops with educators, coaches, business professionals, community leaders, elected officials and athletes on integrating character, ethics, and intervention skills into their personal and professional lives

Over the past several years, I have also served on boards and committees for the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, International Cooperating Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Dallas Center-Grimes School Board. I have twice been a selected presenter and panelist for the National Forum on Character that is held in Washington, D.C.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 kids, cheering on the Cyclones and providing character coaching and ministry to several athletics teams in the area.
