Madison Brown, Intern

Your past shapes how you process your current experiences and the way you interact with others. Sometimes it can feel messy, chaotic, and overwhelming and it can boil over into other areas of your life. Together, we will process these experiences and the emotions involved.

I completed my undergraduate in Minnesota at the College of St. Benedict with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I felt God calling me to the mental health field and moved to Omaha to begin completing my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Once I have completed my master’s degree in August of 2024, I will take my exam to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. While in Omaha, I worked as a family support specialist, supervising visitations between parents and children. I transitioned to working as a registered behavior technician at a behavioral analysis clinic for children ages 2-6 who have Autism.

When I am not working or studying, I enjoy walking my two dogs and spending time in nature. I love cooking and baking. I am a very active person and working out is my preferred coping mechanism to deal with life’s stressors. I am a social butterfly and enjoy hanging out with family and friends.

Currently, I am seeing clients of all ages and will see individuals with special needs. I am excited to navigate through life’s journey with you!
