Linda Wilcox, RDN, LD

I have always wanted to help people.  Nutrition seemed like a good avenue to fulfill that desire.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University while my husband was serving in a ministry position. Several years later, due to difficult real life circumstances, we had to leave ministry.  Through the journey of healing and recovery, my faith, support of trusted friends and pastors, and working with counselors it became evident how all of our wellbeing is connected; I learned just how important it is to care for the whole person in mind, body, & spirit. With empathy and understanding I recognize the courage needed to take the first step in caring for yourself and start your own health and wellness journey.

As a dietitian, I use a balanced approach to health and wellness, focusing on nutrition, movement, sleep, and connecting you with other appropriate health resources. I provide individual wellness and nutrition consultations, ministry and church wellness consultations, and group presentations. I am particularly passionate about working with those in ministry by providing a safe place to care for themselves and their families in health and wellness.

In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University, I have also earned a Bible and Doctrine Diploma from Global University.  I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.  Prior to becoming part of the New Life team, my experience included providing nutrition education and support to individuals and families, leading/teaching small groups in a variety of settings, and community outreach.

I am so grateful to the Lord to share life with my husband, two sons, and our growing family of a daughter in law and a puppy. I love to spend time with family and friends, be outdoors, love sunshine, walking/hiking/biking,  reading a good book, cooking, and of course chocolate.

I look forward to connecting with you soon!
