My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can identify patterns, habits, or thoughts that may be keeping you stuck and begin taking meaningful steps toward the life you want to live. I take a practical, solution-focused approach centered on growth, purpose, and forward progress. I especially enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, and men seeking greater fulfillment, but I would be happy to walk alongside anyone ready to make a change and take their next step forward.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand View University and later completed my MBA from Western Governors University while building a career in business and leadership. My experience working with executives in a fast-paced environment, along with my years of coaching high school athletics, has shaped how I understand purpose, relationships, identity, and the pursuit of a meaningful life. Although I value my work in business, I continued to feel God calling me toward counseling and a more direct way of serving others by helping people navigate meaningful change.

My counseling approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help those I work with understand where they are, identify their goals, and take meaningful steps toward where they want to be. My faith is the foundation of my life and influences everything that I do. I believe a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of hope, purpose, and lasting transformation, but work with individuals at any stage of their faith journey and aim to meet each person where they are.

I am available for sessions in Ankeny (Monday & Friday), West Des Moines (Tuesdays), and virtually throughout the week. When I am outside of the office, I enjoy working out, playing & coaching tennis, serving at church, and spending time with family and friends.
