nnLife is like a great book series. Each chapter and book introduces new characters with excitement, love, sadness, frustrations, and plot twists. Each book is like starting a new era in your life. I am excited to dive into your series and walk through the chapters of life with you. I am passionate about helping and meeting people where they are in their life story.nnI received my Bachelor of Social and Behavioral Science degree in Family Services from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014. At that time, I was pursuing a career path in Child Life Specialty. God had me on a different path that led me to where I am today. I worked the Medicaid waiver population as a case manager from July of 2016 until January of 2023 at which point I transitioned to working with Medicaid and Medicare providers. I am completing my Master of Social Work degree in November of 2023. Once I have completed my degree, I will take my exam to become a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). I’m excited to continue the journey that God has led for me here at New Life.nnWhen I am not busy doing schoolwork, I love traveling with my husband and getting outdoors. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Baking and cooking is my creative outlet and I love sharing my creations with others. My faith and my church are important aspects of my life.nnCurrently, I am seeing clients of all stages and ages. I have a wide range of experiences and expertise that I am excited to use in a counseling setting. I am excited to dive into your current chapter of life and navigate the story together.
