Kacie Behrens, Intern

Navigating life’s transitions, relationships, and personal challenges can feel overwhelming at times. Counseling can provide a space to reflect, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward emotional well-being.
I have always been interested in human behavior and helping people make sense of their experiences. Through years of conversations with friends, family, and teens in my life, I’ve learned the value of listening, offering perspective, and supporting others as they work toward personal growth. My approach is collaborative and relational, helping clients identify their motivations and take intentional, manageable steps toward change, while honoring the unique way each person was created.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, building on a foundation in Psychology earned over 20 years ago. I work with clients to explore their stories, develop insight, and move toward greater resilience and wholeness.
Outside of counseling, I have been married for over 20 years and have two children—one in college and one in high school. Our dog is very much the baby of the family. I enjoy reading, Bible study, coffee with friends, good food, and traveling. Learning about other cultures continues to shape how I understand people and the world around me.
I work with clients of all ages and am especially interested in working with older teens, adults, and couples. I look forward to working with you as you explore your experiences, gain insight, and take meaningful steps forward. Together, we can create a supportive space for reflection, growth, and lasting change.
